A Blend of Functional Cosmetic Grade Silicones - (Cyclomethicone, Cyclopentasiloxane and Dimethiconol) derived from mineral components, silicones impart a soft silky feel to the hair and skin. They help to protect hair against heat and support protection. They are lightweight and have excellent spreading capability, offer less tackiness and conditions the hair and skin. They are used to help portect the hair fibres and add shine. Cyclopentasiloxane is used to help deliver and spread other ingredients to the hair and skin. As it is a volatile silicone derivative, it evaporates upon application after delivering all the key ingredients that provide moisture and shine and is also water soluble.

Cold Pressed Certified Organic Argan Oil - (Argania Spinosa Kernel Oil) is obtained from the fruit kernel of the Argan Tree rich in Vitamin E, antioxidants, omega-6 and omega-9 essential fatty acids all of which assist in keeping hair and skin nourished and hydrated.

Argan Hair and Skin Treatment is a non-greasy ultra-light serum that does not coat the hair or skin. For fine hair use sparingly and for thicker hair use a little more.

Do Silk Oil of Morocco products contain silicones?
Some of our products do contain silicone or silicone derivatives and are used in some of our products for a number of different functions mainly as a conditioning agent and to act as a carrying agent for other ingredients. It is also used to help reduce blow drying time and to help protect against heated styling tools as well as enhancing wet and dry combing. Cyclopentasiloxane is used to help deliver and spread other ingredients to hair. As it is volatile silicone derivative, it evaporates upon application after delivering the key ingredients that provide moisture and shine and is water soluble. It is important to note that there are literally hundreds of different silicones available for different functions in the marketplace. Some good and some not so good. We only use silicone blends that are designed for cosmetic and haircare formulations that evaporate upon application and are water soluble once formulated into the product.
