Stainless Steel is a waterproof hypoallergenic material. The PVD coating possess a far higher resistance to wear than traditional gold plating. While water might not cause any damage, harsh chemicals can slowly tarnish Gold Plating. We recommend avoiding harsh chemicals wherever possible and polishing your jewellery with a polish cloth to promote longevity.
Sterling Silver can withstand the natural water from a shower however it should not be worn in a swimming pool or ocean due to the chlorine and salt.
