While water might not cause any damage, harsh chemicals can slowly tarnish Gold Plating. We recommend avoiding harsh chemicals wherever possible and polishing your jewellery with a polish cloth to promote longevity.
Sterling Silver can withstand the natural water from a shower however it should not be worn in a swimming pool or ocean due to the chlorine and salt.
